"FASHION FOR ALL New Taipei ‧ Fashion," a spectacular event celebrating sustainable fashion, was hosted on 18 May at Banqiao Fuzhong Plaza in New Taipei City. During the heyday of the textile industry in the 1970s & 1980s, Banqiao drove a wave of economic development & became a gathering place for fashion & textile industries, serving as the fashionable backcourt of the city. New Taipei City, as the most sustainable city in Taiwan, apart from continuing to implement the United Nations' sustainable development goals, will also transform the old town of Fuzhong into a fashion stage in 2024 to enhance public awareness of environmental protection. In addition to the supermodel catwalk show under the spotlight, there are also popups, workshops, markets & other themed tours, leading the people & industries to join hands in understanding sustainable fashion & environmentally friendly life from different perspectives.
DEPLOY, founded in London with 360° sustainability blueprint, is a pioneer in global sustainable fashion.
