Building Better Business: DEPLOY Founder shares vision & practice in ‘Towards a new Valuism for 360 Sustainability’ - a Keynote at B Corp Asia ESG Forum in Taipei

The B Corp Asia-ESG Symposium "Building Better Business," held in Taipei on May 3 at CPBAE gathered experts & stakeholders from more than 20 nations to discuss the roadmap profitability & social responsibility.
The event — co-hosted by NCCU's (National Chungchi University) Sinyi School of Commerce, B Lab Taiwan & Tsar & Tsai Law Firm—attracted international leaders, academics, & entrepreneurs passionate & pioneering in sustainability practice.

Dr. Bernice Pan, Founder of DEPLOY, delivered a keynote titled, "Towards A New Valuism for 360° Sustainability," where DEPLOY’s pilot practice proves that through ethical decision making, design thinking and resource efficiency, sustainability and prosperity are mutually inclusive. She urges a shift towards a values-centric ethos that puts people and the environment at the centre of businesses; calling on leaders and citizens to re-consider their decisions and choices made each day, both professionally and personally by asking ourselves what the right thing to do is.
The panel discussion forum, led by Dr. Christoper Marquis, Professor at University of Cambridge and author of Better Business: How the B Corp Movement is Remaking Capitalism emphasised the need for organisations to recalibrate for sustainable impact. Ultimately, it served as a call to action for stakeholders to embrace a holistic approach to business, prioritising people, planet, & profit.
