AUTUMN-WINTER 2011 COLLECTION

DEPLOY’s Autumn-Winter 2011 brings a touch of retro-futurist idealism to life by the clever juxtaposition of couture tailoring with its signature fashion-function construction: Wool crêpe in rich emerald green and amethyst fuchsia ingeniously created as cool two-way pinafore dress and reversible crop jacket. Or country oil-cotton outerwear fashioned into urban waterproof trench dress in java brown. Yet the bold attitude does not eclipse a more demure softness, where cashmere-blend tissue jersey and light-weight matt satin silk in porcelain blue or pearl pink divulge dewy femininity.

Lines are fluid yet unambiguously composed, crystallised in the angular curves of tailed hemlines and piping-detailed raglan sleeves. Tapered waistlines are shown off in warm flannel waistcoat and cosy jacquard hooded wrap coat, coupled with the ease of all-weather breeches or the comfort of jersey pedal-pusher copped-pants.

Essential business black-and-white from the finest gabardine suiting wool and sharp cotton shirting is given a flirtatious twist as showcased in the tiered-pleats and multi-darted detailing of the tailored wrap dress and high-waist wide- legged trousers.

Avant-garde or classic chic? The DEPLOY woman defies stereotypical genres. Her style, individuality and astute intelligence provide a distinctive new vision for our times, re-defining high, yet responsible fashion with carefully designed multi-functionality and lasting sustainability.
